Para poder seguir usando los gestos usando launchers de terceros tener en cuenta todo esto:

By connecting the smartphone to the PC, execute the following commands:
cd c:\adb\platform-tools\
./adb shell cmd deviceidle whitelist +com.hihonor.android.launcher
then restart
In this way, you will have added the default launcher to the energy saving whitelist. To check if it is present, use the following command:
./adb shell dumpsys deviceidle whitelist
This is literally the only way that works on MagicOS 9 ... because I could not find the Home app listed anywhere else to pin it properly on memory
--- Si a pesar de todo, necesitas dejar como launcher por defecto al de Honor, puedes poner un acceso directo a Nova Launcher y...
--- También usar el truco de dejar por defecto el de honor pero usar Macrodroid para que se ejecute Nova al "unlock". Y poner la barra de gestos de "Gesture Control" a la izquierda!!! para que al lanzar desde la izquierda pongamos el lanzador de Nova!
