Got this tip from cyanogenmod black section, where they discussed about the low framerate in video recording. So the tip was to install 'sd speed increase' from the market and the video recording is definitely smoother. I'm also using temasek kang build 16, which also has improved quality and framerate. Still not as good as stock or rom, but improvement is definitely seen
