it may be a bit late, but i made a cwm zip with the above changes and have been using it. if you don't use any samsung app, then no fc. :P

First boot was stopping in samsung logo, second worked.
Launcher runs great, calendar up and running. yeah - hold power off and power on again would do it the first time.
should'v taken out AxT0Ime.apk :P
