Tiene buena pinta, pero en la info de la app ellos mismos dicen que con Android 9, excepto según qué modelos y países, hace falta root para que vaya bien:

Yo estoy con el mismo tema, que necesito grabar llamadas por trabajo y aunque la que tengo instalada funciona, sí que ha perdido un poco de calidad en la voz de con quien estés hablando

No estaría mal saber si alguna marca tiene habilitada la grabación de llamadas en España, como Huawei en Italia, por ejemplo.
