Official TWRP

• The base version of TWRP 3.0.2-2
• Used to backup, restore firmware, flash zips, etc.
• Users with official unlocked bootloader will have to flash Universal Boot Img Patcher (UBP) after flashing MIUI Recovery ROM Zip.
• Users with unofficial unlocked bootloader should strictly not use this for flashing MIUI Recovery ROM Zip.

Official TWRP with F2FS Support

• Based on official TWRP 3.0.2-2 & updated CyanogenMod source
• Adds Support For F2FS based file systems.
• Used for flashing official CyanogenMod 13 based ROMs.
• Users with official unlocked bootloader will have to flash Universal Boot Img Patcher (UBP) after flashing MIUI Recovery ROM Zip.
• Users with unofficial unlocked bootloader should strictly not use this TWRP for flashing MIUI Recovery ROM Zip.

Cofface TWRP

• Based on Official TWRP 3.0.0-0
• Patches boot.img automatically, no need to flash UBP Zip after flashing MIUI Recovery ROM Zip.
• Users with official unlocked bootloader can use this TWRP.
• Users with unofficial unlocked bootloader should strictly not use this TWRP for flashing MIUI Recovery ROM Zip.

Safe TWRP v2

• Based on Cofface TWRP 3.0.0-0
• Prevents hardbrick while flashing MIUI Recovery ROM Zip.
• Users with unofficial unlocked bootloaders should strictly use this TWRP only.
• Users with official unlocked bootloaders can use Cofface TWRP.

Alka TWRP

• Based on Cofface TWRP 3.0.0-0
• Used to backup all partitions before flashing any custom ROM.
• Users with official unlocked bootloaders can use this TWRP to backup partitions & flash other custom ROMs as well.
• Users with unofficial unlocked bootloader should use this TWRP to backup the partitions only & return to Safe TWRP v2 after backing up.
