Eso es un 'bug' conocido busca por Google. Que encuentras... ;) prueba esto: The way I made my beloved search bar re-appear on the recent app screen is:
In Settings -> Apps -> Gear icon (top right) -> Default Apps -> Assistance (first one) -> Assistance application (click on gear icon) -> Select None (in my case Google App was selected)
Restart the phone
At the same location as mentioned in 1, select the Google App. [At that point I tried to check if the search bar was back, but it was not, so tried a last restart]

My search widget was back on the recent apps screen!
