Disclaimer
Este nuevo hilo intenta ordenar los diferentes hilos que hablan sobre las ROM's de MIUI, y se centra en las basadas en MIUI V7, tomadas de xiaomi.eu. No soy responsable de lo que se haga con las informaciones aquí vertidas, así como de cualquier daño o fallo que se pueda ocasionar. Aquí se intenta recoger todo aquello que nos permita tener una ROM de calidad, con aplicaciones a nuestro gusto para poder personalizar el teléfono, y darle el mejor uso posible.
Los procedimientos aquí recogidos son generalmente seguros pero se realizan bajo la responsabilidad del usuario, no de la mía.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA ROM:
1. Instalar custom recovery (recomendado TWRP)
2. Copiar fichero ZIP de la ROM a la SD-card (interna/externa)
3. Arrancar en modo recovery
4. Seleccionar backup [opcional, junto con paso 5]
5. Hacer backup de lo instalado (por si algo saliese mal y hubiese que volver a la situación anterior) [opcional, pero recomendable]
6. Seleccionar wipe
7. Factory Reset (wipe data, dalvik cache, cache) [en caso de venir de MIUI V7 basta con wipe cache+dalvik cache]
8. Swipe to wipe [algunos recomiendan Reboot Recovery después de este paso]
9. Seleccionar instalar
10. Seleccionar ZIP de la ROM
11. Instalar ROM
12. Reboot System

INSTALACIÓN:

1. Descargar el kernel y copiarlo en la memoria interna del móvil (directorio raiz)
2. Arrancar en modo recovery
3. Seleccionar wipe --> advanced wipe
4. Clear cache/dalvik cache
5. Swipe to wipe
6. Volver al menu
7. Seleccionar instalar
8. Seleccionar el fichero ZIP (previamente copiado en la memoria interna en el punto 1)
9. Swipe to Flash
10. Reboot System

PROBLEMAS DETECTADOS:
1. Por el momento, este kernel imposibilita el uso de Mi PC Suite con esta ROM.
2. Con el móvil apagado no suena la alarma.

PREGUNTAS FRECUENTES (Pre.Fre.'s)

-P: Si instalo esta ROM, ¿pierdo el recovery TWRP?
-R: No, no se pierde el Recovery

-P: ¿Esta ROM carga la batería (BM44) de 2200 mAh con el móvil encendido?
-R: Sí carga con el kernel Xcelerate; con el kernel stock no carga. (ver post). Bld9 y Bld10 no cargan (ver post).

-P: ¿Existe para esta ROM algún parche para centrar el reloj?
-R: Modificaciones plak modulo repositorio xposed funciona en wsm tools. (ver post)

-P: ¿Hay que instalar Gapps, o viene con algo ya instalado?
-R: Tiene Gapps (Google Apps).

-P: ¿Viene rooteada?
-R: Sí. Trae root nativo de MIUI.

-P: Tengo problemas de cortes en la música. ¿Hay alguna solución?
-R: Instala PowerAmp y configura el buffer de audio a 250 ms. (ver post). Otra causa probable es la mala calidad de la SD (ver post).

-P: El proceso mdnsd me consume mucha batería. ¿Tiene solución?
-R: La solución consiste en quitar los permisos de ejecución al proceso (ver post). A continuación, si el proceso está activo, hacer un reinicio del móvil. De forma alternativa, se puede flashear clearmdnsd-signed.zip: Reboot Recovery / Install ZIP / Reboot System.

-P: ¿Se puede pasar de MIUI V5 a V7 haciendo todos los wipes sin que dé problemas?
-R: Sí. (ver post).

-P: Al activar la linterna me pone que está cargando la batería. ¿Tiene solución?
-R: Reinicio + wipe cache y dalvik cache (ver post).

-P: Las notificaciones de WhatsApp me llegan a veces con retraso.
-R: Prueba esto. Si no te funciona, mira este post.

-P: En las notificaciones de WhatsApp, ¿se pueden bajar para ver las conversaciones?
-R: Sí. Primero baja la cortinilla de notificaciones y luego aprieta sobre la notificación de WhatsApp con 2 dedos y desliza hacia abajo para ver las conversaciones (ver post).

-P: ¿Dónde están, dentro de los ajustes, los ajustes de localización, para poner el gps en alto rendimiento - ahorro de batería - sólo dispositivo?
-R: En Ajustes > Ajustes adicionales > Seguridad > Localización (ver post).

-P: ¿Cómo se protege una aplicación, para que no la descargue nunca de memoria?
-R: En la lista de aplicaciones abiertas, se baja para que le ponga el candado (ver post).

-P: No me funciona la síntesis de voz.
-R: Instala desde Play Store la aplicación TTS Ivona y su paquete de voz en español (ver post).

-P: En las últimas versiones de la ROM WSMTools no funciona, no deja instalar framework. ¿Se puede solucionar?
-R: Claro. La solución se indica en este post. Otra solución pasa por cambiarse a Xposed (ver post)

-P: Quiero quitar la "R" del Roaming. ¿Cómo puedo hacerlo?
-R: Con el módulo Roaming Control de Xposed (ver post).
