La solución

Eventually I found this bit of info provided by user Windowlicker on the Samsung Galaxy S Forums.

Con el tiempo me encontré con este pedazo de información proporcionado por el usuario Windowlicker en el Samsung Galaxy S Foros.

• Put your phone to download mode (hold down: volume down, home key, power)
  Ponga el teléfono al modo de descarga (mantenga presionada la tecla: para bajar el volumen, tecla de inicio, el poder)
• Do not plug in your phone yet.
  No conecte el teléfono todavía.
• Start Odin3
  Inicio Odin3
• Tick "Re-Partition", and also check that "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" have been ticked.
  Marque "Re-partición", y también comprobar que "Auto Reboot" y "F. Perdí mi tiempo" se han marcado.
• Click "PIT" button and select s1_odin_20100512.pit file.
  Haga clic en "PIT" y seleccione el archivo s1_odin_20100512.pit.
• Now, plug in the phone and wait until Odin finds it.
  Ahora, conecte el teléfono y espere hasta que Odín se encuentra.
• Click "Start" button...
  Haga clic en botón "Inicio" ...
  <Firmware update start...> <Get PIT for mapping...> appear.
  <Firmware Actualización start...> <obtener PIT para mapping...> aparecer.
  The phone will turn off and the screen indicates "Reset".
  El teléfono se apaga y la pantalla indica "Reset".
  Wait until Odin indicates "Pass".
  Espere hasta que Odín indica "Pass".
• Plug out your phone, remove the battery, put it back in and put phone to download mode again.
  Enchufe de su teléfono, retire la batería, lo puso de nuevo y poner el modo de teléfono para descargar de nuevo.
• Click "Reset" button in Odin and untick "Re-Partition" box.
  Haga clic en botón "Reset" en Odin y desmarca la casilla "Re-partición".
• Do not select PIT file again.
  No seleccione PIT archivo de nuevo.
  Just leave it empty.
  Sólo deja vacío.
• Click "PDA" button and select "CODE" file.
  Haga clic en "PDA" y seleccione "CODE" del archivo.
• Click "MODEM" button and select "MODEM" file.
  Haga clic en "MODEM" y seleccionar "MODEM" archivo.
• Click "CSC" button and select "CSC" file.
  Haga clic en "CSC" y seleccione "CSC" archivo.
• Plug in the phone and wait until Odin finds it.
  Conecte el teléfono y espere hasta que Odín se encuentra.
• Click "Start" button and wait until phone reboots with the new software version.
  Haga clic en "Start" y esperar hasta que el teléfono se reiniciará con la nueva versión del software.
