Danne-jo booted new Rom successfully on a Desire probably because it has different architecture in hardware and a different hboot.
Wildfire doesn't have CPU support for things like VSP this ROM most likely uses, the Desire however handles this with no issues. It may be possible to port this although it's unlikely.
