It's because he didn't do a correct full wipe or because his device is faulty. Try to use CWM as recovery/backup/wipe tool.
I am running R25 for +5 days now, and haven't had a single crash..

I have had some crashes (two) in the previous builds. But this was related to dropping the phone too hard on the table causing the battery to move because of the shock which caused a hard reboot (power loss because of the battery moving away from the pins). This was also the famous/known "crash" 'bug' in the HTC z710d/z710t/z710e, which can be easily fixed by putting a old cutted credit card or plastic card between the battery.
He didn't do nothing, I did all in his smartphone. I used TWRP for backup, wipe and install, and I did all possible wipes(internal storage, data, system, dalvik and cache). I will try with CWM.
