Dear friends, I am wondering if you can swap sdcard0 with sdcard1 here, I am using the salamander rom and my phone is storing pictures on my internal storage instead of on my sdcard. I read that void.fstab does not work with kitkat 4.4 so I need to do something with kernel?

I think that this issue has nothing to be with the kernel is just a matter of configuration. You just need to set the SD card as the default storage device. You can do this on the setup menu -> storage.
