Según comenta un desarrollador de otro foro no hay que fiarse de lo que digan esos programas ya que no es posible controlar las frecuencias al 100% las CPUs multinucleo, no como lo hacíamos con las mononucleo, al parecer eso es lo que llevo a Cyanogen a quitar las opciónes de rendimiento en su rom

You really shouldn't mess with setting CPU frequencies manually. It's something that we used to do on ancient single-core devices. It really doesn't work like that on modern multi-core CPUs and there are many parts of the system that control the CPU frequency (mpdecision, thermal, power HAL boostpulse, etc) and this will only interfere with that. That is also the reason why there is no CPU frequency setting in CyanogenMod's 'performance settings' in CM12 anymore - just performance profiles.
