try to charge the battery, let it charging cause sometimes it gets flushed and it's impossible to make any progress with an empty one. If it is ok, the device should be eternally stuck into fastboot mode -with lenovo white stupid logo. I had the red light problem and it showed lenovo logo and then it got dead. After that I charged it and could continue testing, maybe that is the reason. Anyways, you can let it charge with battery connected (remember the small battery connector must be plugged if you removed the battery before) -->
