Bueno, parece que esta vez si que he dado en el clavo. Por lo visto a alguien se le ha ocurrido la idea de hacer un port de una rom de otro movil chino con el mismo procesador que el nuestro para nuestro HDC, aqui os dejo el enlace:

Download V3 update……Fixed Camera Bug…….
Please Clean INstall V3…………Before you install the new version and you want to keep your stuff make a Backup of your files with Titainium Backup, You can get this in the Playstore….before you install the new version.
*** Remember to always backup your current rom just incase somthing goes wrong****
NOTE: REMOVE OR DISABLE ANDROID L KEYBOARD……..
This rom need :
- Rooted Phone & install CMW recovery
This is NOT ported from original rom, so I am not responsible of any damage or bricking your mobile. Every step below is dangerous ! do it on your own risk. you could lose your mobile if any thing went wrong … Be careful !
If you dont have root or CWM, Google it!
2- Installing The new Rom
- Download MIUI rom and place it in SD card ( Here )
- Turn the mobile off , using Volume UP + Power go to the new installed CWM
- Make a full backup to your current rom , So if you need to get it back, You can using restore method from CWM
- complete factory reset in 3 steps : Wipe Partition Cache + Data Factory Reset +advanced – >clear davilk
- INSTALL ROM
- Wipe Partition Cache and Davilk Cache
- INSTALL GAPPS Download here
- Wipe Again
- Restart and wait ~ 2 – 10 mins
- ENJOY

Me voy a animar a instalarla, si lo consigo y funciona bien lo comento por aqui.
Edito: Instalada y funciona correctamente. Parece ser que es un port de una rom de un telefono de la marca xiaomi que tiene el mismo procesador que el nuestro. Ya solo me queda resolver los problemas derivados de instalar una nueva rom (imei no valido, roaming, etc) e instalar todos los programas que suelo usar. Ya os contare con el tiempo que tal va el movil con esta nueva rom.
