I tried installing a camera applications however it didn't work. But guess what I was able to solve the problem and it wasn't a hardware issue.Check the below scenario:
- I used to have a LED Flash light Application before that uses the Camera app.
- The last time the camera was working was when I used the LED flash Light application.
- I uninstalled the application but it didn't solve the problem.
- I restored the factory settings, also it didn't solve the problem.
- I restored the factory settings again but this time I have unchecked the options to Back up my Data and the automatic Restore Option. IT WORKED!!!
