OK, before I begin; Given the responses to some of the other posts surrounding this subject. Peeps can choose to accept what I am telling you as the truth, or not... but please do not flame.

For the news....

I work for Orange UK and have it on good authority from a colleague that works within our central Banbury warehouse, that they will be recieiving their first batch of X10's with Orange branded firmwares mid to late next week.

Usual process is one week of testing before being 'built' for distribution.

We believe that the shipping date to stores and other channels will be WC 20/09/10.
At this time Orange will also release the OTA update in staggered manner which is usually dictated by what HLR (Home Location Register) you are on.

I can only summise that this is the intended date of when SE plan to release 2.1 here in the UK, as Orange would most definately not be allowed to ship before SE does

En este momento Orange también sacará la actualización OTA de forma asombrosa que en realidad es dictada por el HLR en el que te encuentras( registro de localización hogareña, banco de datos que contiene información sobre clientes suscritos a algún servicio en particular incluye dirección, detalle de compra etc.)

Yo solo puedo intuir que esta es la fecha propuesta en la cual SE intenta lanzar la 2.1 aquí en UK, ya que Orange definitivamente no podria lanzarla antes que SE
