malas noticias, el otro dia lei esto por parte de "igio" maximo desarrollador de la rom "bam". parece que esta RC3 sera la ultima...despues de mas de 2 años de trabajo.

Hello Bammers, a quick update related to BAM ROMs:

At the moment me and Domenico are working full time on our new project (Inspire) and it's taking us away from continue the development of the rom.
BAM ROM (borned as JellyBam 2 years ago) was created for fun by me and later converted as my main job. However, during his life, it didn't grant any earnings for me, indeed, i spent around 180€ a month to keep the project and the websites alive.

Then, we came out with inspire and with great surprise it becomes really popular in a short time and i dont hide that we are finally earnings some money (i said finally since Android development is our main job... and as for all job, the monthly salary is really important especially to keep your projects alive.

When JellyBAM came out, the "competition" was with CM and AOKP, but now there are tons of custom ROMS which included so and so the same characteristics.

With this advice i would like to inform you all that the RC3, at the moment (if my plans didn't change in further) is the last bam rom version. I would like to spend my time in developing something new and bring some innovation to Android, and custom roms is not the right way to do that.

I always worked alone, and it's fine by me, so i can put only 1 brain and 2 hands to my projects. I hope you'll will continue follow my development with my new brand Inspire (I'll came out with some new innovative applications branded with inspire) and support my projects by providing usefull feedbacks etc.

This community will remain active for further advice, questions and supports related to my projects.

Thank' yall!
