Siento contradecirte si se puede actualizar teniendo roteado el terminal , otra cosa es que hayan modificado el build.prop de esta manera si dará error al actualizar.

Bueno yo lo comento porque en el post del foro chino donde vi el enlace de descarga especificaba claramente de actualizar desde una ROM oficial no root.
