KaguDroid 1.3

This rom REQUIRES an ext partition on your sdcard or it will bootloop, you have been warned

This Rom is built from Android 2.1_r2 cyanogen sources (sdk7), with my own customizations that make it the KaguDroid Rom. I find it really stable and, at least for me, it is usable everyday. And many more really great things will come in next versions!

It now has a new app2sd concept discussed on xda nexus forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636386) and implemented by Chrys Soyars (http://twitter.com/ChrisSoyars). Basically, it allows you choose where to install apps: on sdcard or on data partition.

Advice: do a nandroid backup before updating

Fresh install
1) wipe
2) flash the rom
3) flash the google bits
4) reboot

Updating from 1.1 or prior

Note: Google apps are automatically backed up and restored

1) disable apps2sd if enabled and reboot
2) make sure GoogleBits are up2date
3) flash the rom
4) reboot

What does not works:
- Camera at 5mp: do no try it, it will freeze the camera service then reboot is needed.
- Camera: after a couple of photos, the camera app force close.
- AD2P calls: no sound
- Gallery3D graphics get 'messed up' if you switch orientation.
- Live wallpaper are not all playing (we miss OpenGl ES Lite 1.)
- Exchange sync problems with some servers configuration
- All feature that need a custom kernel are not working (usb-tether, compcache)
- Some Youtube vid?os are displaying only the first frame
- Some mp4 videos have no image

HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?

- Was it a hard reboot? Get me the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
- Was it a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get me the full output.

Pues lo primero que me ha sorprendido de la 1.3 jit, es que al instalar una aplicacion te da ha elegir entre intalarlo en el telefono o en la sd, por supuesto se necesita tener las particiones de la tarjeta.

Incluye multi touch

Pues me quedare con las ganas porque necesita obligatoriamente particion ext3, y no quiero particionarla porque no utilizo app2sd, ahora lo tengo bien.
Por lo que comentan va muy bien, haber vuestros comentarios..

Lo dle JIT que es? creo que nunca lo habia visto...

Que raro, se ha instalado todo bien, pero al instalar aplicaciones se cuelga al instalarlas, es decir, se queda en "instalando", y puedes volver atras, pero no la instala. Incluso las del market.
Ademas, descargando del market el SysTray, se ha reiniciado. No se, no se, me da que voy a tener que formatear la SD.

Bueno, pues después de una instalación limpia, "funciona".
Va un poco a tirones, los live wallpapers los colocas y van, pero al bloquearse el teléfono y desbloquearlo de nuevo desaparecen...:pensando:
Unos cuantos cierres forzados, algún problema con la instalación de aplis, aunque está bien que te permita elegir cada vez dónde guardarlas.
Mola el market, la presentacion de la galería de fotos, videos..., aunque la imagen general me gusta más la de mi MoDaCo 3.2 ( y vuelvo a ella )

Pues nada, algo falla. He hecho wipe, he formateado la SD en Ext3, he vuelto a instalar la ROM... y me sigue pasando, tanto si le digo que me instale las app en la SD, como en la memoria interna.
¿Alguna pista, compañeros?
