Broken glass

Hi i just broke the glass on my dg2014. Does anyone have any experience replacing it? I see that replacement glass and digitizer ate sold as well as embedded to lcd for not much less. Is it hard to change just the glass?

I had the glass removed yesterday (using a hairdryer and a couple of guitar plekters) It turns out the glass is laminated to the LCD unit and therefore is a very expensive operation to replace. Bad engineering!
