About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.

Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.

With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.

Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....

We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Seguro que bastantes la hemos probado.
Yo te puedo decir que la batería me duró menos que con la eclipse, qué la llevo ahora.
De personalización va mejorando, cómo todas, y menús que no tienen traducción, pero no debería haber problema para entenderlo.
No la he encontrado fallos.

Estoy satisfecho con la rom, tiene buena personalizacion pero lo unico que me falla es led de carga, aunque en el menu este activado no se enciende cuando enchufas el cargador. Ya me ocurria en la 9.1 y ahora en la 9.2

Instala la última actualización limpia de la rom, con todos los wipes,a ver si no te da ningún problema.

Instalada bien limpia y sigue sin funcionar. En las notificaciones si, pero en la carga no. No me molesta pero si alguien tiene el mismo problema que sepa que no es el unico.

Edito.

Flasheada sin problemas. Al instalar aplicaciones desde la memoria, sale el mensaje: " se ha detenido la apliacación Instalador de paquetes"; pero lo instala.

En Navigation ring targets, no deja editar..

Por lo demás muy rápida.


PD. Siguen sin poner lo de matar aplicaciones...

Recomendado instalación en limpio.

Changes :
BIG new thing is that kernel is bumped to unicornblood and lot of stuff is added like DT2W, S2W, Gamma control, OC to 1700 and some new kernel governors (see screenshots )
I recommend CLEAN flash
It is still WIP but it will be more updated in future time
Regarding kernel BIG thanks to +Josh Chasky who made this changes and helping me to learn how to do it myself

No deberia ser por eso, ya que descargar tiene que descargar igual, pero a ver si con el ordenadlr te descarga sin problemas.

A mí me pasaba igual con LiquidSmooth. No podía descargar esa ROM, ni conectado a mi WiFi, ni al de la Facultad. Da igual la ROM, el navegador o si es festivo, para mí fue imposible descargar desde el teléfono.

Llevo 1 semana seguida con tantos reinicios, bloqueos y cosas raras en mi N4 que lo voy a estampar contra la pared.

Aún estoy en 5.1.1 oficial y acabo de encontrar este hilo.

Por favor, aunque seguro que está respondido varias veces, ¿hay algún tutorial rápido con los pasos necesarios para poder flashear esta nueva rom 6.0 en un Nexus 4 que tiene aún la rom stock instalada?.

Umm no he probado esta pero si pone test no te recomiendo ponerla. Prueba mejor la simple aosp o la chroma. Tienes que hacer root y poner el último twrp recovery. Ya con eso sigues las instrucciones de flasheo de la rom que pongas

Al final me tiré a la piscina antes de leer tu mensaje. He instalado la versión TEST y, quitando que se merienda la batería que da gusto, funciona bastante bien.

Me da buena espina esta rom.

Gracias por los consejos, los tendré en cuenta para futuras referencias.

Ya que he salido escaldado de la 5.1.1 solo me interesa llegar a tener una versión "decente" y estable en 6.0 en mi Nexus 4 (que me resisto a abandonarlo en un cajón).

Pues estoy probando las versiones TEST (la primera y ésta última 6.0.1) y van fenomenal.

No soy de meter muchas filigranas a las roms... pero me estan funcionando mejor que las versiones STOCK sin duda.

Hola.

Flasheada con las Gapps de Banks, tal como indicó el compañero Jarenor, dado que con las ultimas de txuki me daban error los servicios de google. Le he puesto xposed y el grabitibox y por ahora sin problemas.

Con respecto a la personalización, sigue en su línea, sin incluir la posibilidad de poner en la barra de navegación el botón de menú ni el forzar cierre en el botón de atrás.

Puesta desde ayer por la noche con las gapps de txuki sin problema.

Puse el xposed con el módulo del gravity y perfecto.

Le voy a dar unos ciclos y luego podré el kernel de txuki.

Esta última versión no la probé pero con la anterior se instalaba como cualquier otra: los 4 wipes habituales, gapps (metí unas d txuki que tenía descargadas) y el súper su me parece que no lo. Instalé porque ya lo traía la Rom incluido

Estoy teniendo algunos problemas con la cobertura móvil. En el uso de batería veo que hay muchos momentos marcados en rojo... y me preocupa no tener disponibilidad de llamadas.

Me estoy moviendo por las mismas zonas que hace meses por lo que creo que puede haber algún problema con la baseband.

La que tengo instalada actualmente es la M9615A-CEFWMAZM-2.0-1701.07

Gracias por confirmar que es la última radio. El tema es que subí a la versión OFFICIAL-v10.2 de DU porque venía de una version TEST previa de DU que empezó muy bien pero me daba problemas con otras cosas (algun reseteo, bloqueo de sim cuando la batería estaba sobre el 20% de batería, etc).

Con esta 10.2 va todo bien, excepto lo de la cobertura que me mosquea...

¿Qué otras ROMS de MM me recomendáis que vayan mas os menos bien en Nexus 4?, ¿Chroma OS tal vez?.

En AOSP, la chroma como dices o el Pure nexus project y en version CM , tienes la resurrection Remix o la AICP , y otras que por lo menos en cobertura imagino que te iran bien

Llevo ya unos días con la última versión y de momento todo bien tras una instalación en sucio.
El único problema me lo dio el Facebook que no se abría y tuve que reinstalarlo.
Me quedaré por aquí hasta que Nougat tenga mas personalización.

Perfecta como siempre. Llevo meses con ella y sin ningún problema. Y el desarrolo es constante con una actualización cada mes.

yo también llevo meses con esta ROM y, sin considerarla perfecta, funciona muy bien teniendo en cuenta las especificaciones de nuestro terminal. El desarrollo de Fling (https://plus.google.com/+DirtyUnicornsOfficial/posts/72CTg4fpkTk) merece destacarse. Yo me he acostumbrado a él y lo prefiero a la barra de navegación tradicional.

Lástima que no tienen previsto portar Nougat a Nexus 4.
