Después de mandar la semana pasada un email a HTC para saber si actualizarían a Donut 1.6 me han contestado:platano: (no me lo puedo de creer)
Dear HTC customer,
The Hero will not be receiving the Android 1.6 upgrade, it will however get the 2.0 one. Do note however that we do not have a confirmed release date for this upgrade, all I can recommend at the moment is that you keep yourself updated by visiting our website regularly as the latest information will be available to view from there.

No confirman ninguna fecha para la actualización pero me imagino que sera después de la salida del HTC Droid con android 2.0 (Eclair) que según los rumores saldrá el 6 de noviembre.
Donut no aporta demasiados cambios. Personalmente prefiero que pasen directamente a Eclair.
PS: La respuesta debe de ser automatizada ya que en otros foros han contestado exactamente lo mismo.
