En mi paso por personalizar al máximo mi equipo decidí modificar el splash screen y el boot animation al estilo del nuevo Nexus 5
Así quedó mi equipo

Para instalar el splash screen deben seguir este tutorial http://www.chw.net/foro/huawei/1049692-tutorial-cambiar-el-splash-screen-huawei-y300-g510-y-otros.html
e instalar esta imagen

Y para el boot animation deben descargar alguno de los siguientes archivos
Animación grande
https://www.dropbox.com/s/60rvbvnk28gxzxz/NEXUSbootanimation.zip (esta es la que se ve en el vídeo)
Animación pequeña
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6oan445kaodmlc3/NEXUSMINIbootanimation.zip (creo que esta se ve mejor así que finalmente dejé esta en mi equipo)
e instalarlos como deseen, es decir, renombrando el archivo descargado a bootanimation.zip y copiarlo a system/media con algún gestor de archivos root
o instalar el archivo con ROM toolbox pro
Y listo

HAGAN LOS RESPALDOS CORRESPONDIENTES
SOLO PROBÉ EL BOOT ANIMATION EN UN EQUIPO Y300 CON ROM STOCK
