I was able to revive the full brick!

done here as Hyundai T7 / Hyundai T7s - Talk (Post # 23798664)

4 gigs took the card, extract it from firmware bootloader_sd.vhd using WinImage 8.50.zip.
formatnul her partition using Acronis Disk Director 11 Home in fat32 and copied the firmware Inspiration_0.4

started to believe and through - the ox. black screen blinked a couple of times. after 5 - 10 minutes just pressed to believe and earned a tablet.

everything works ... : D

¡¡¡¡¡¡ Necesito betatester con la tablet brickeada, compañeros ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

Not exactly what was asked for in the first post, but I have a bricked tablet and I'm willing to do the tests. Mine is completely bricked though, the screen stays completely black and other than charging LED, the tablet shows no signs of life.

Hi Digimagic, can you try this? :

- One 4 Gb. SD, using bootloader_sd.vhd from Inspiration 0.4 with Winimage, select "Restore virtual hard disk image on physical drive ..." and mark yes to write information.
- If after that Windows don´t read SD, go to "administracion de discos", (sorry, I don´t know how is in english) or use with Acronis Disk Director 11 and format the rest of de SD, above 2.8 Gb., in FAT32, and copy all files of Inspiration 0.4 (13 files)
- Insert SD on tablet, and press vol- and power, and punch reset. Continue press vol- and power till words of updated appears on screen (I hope so).
- Wait till updated finished and power on tablet.

It´s only a test, please do it only if your Voyo it´s bricked.

Hi, if you have followed the other threads... surely you know we have tow main theories:
1.- Tablet do no turn on because buttons do not contact switches: open it to be sure this is not its trouble.
2.- Tablet do turn on but it only gets black screen: it turns on but do nothing; try to change name from utscrit_1st to utscript and flash it again. Before copy the firmware files, format SD as FAT32, not quick format.

Good luck.
PS: pls, tell us about your progress

Edit.: hey, I realize now you were the first one to open it, did not returned it to China or is it a new one?
Edit 2: of course, beachsun's post too; it is the russian suggested method

Did not return it to China - because I'm lazy :-) and I've hoped either someone would find a solution or I'll reuse parts of the tablet for some sort of do-it-yourself display/computer. In the meantime I've ordered Nextway F9X (didn't arrive yet, was about 180$ shipping included).

All of the buttons seem to work correctly.

beachsun, I think I understand the instructions, but I have only a 32 GB card. Should it work? Or would you recommend that I get a 4GB card? (It's no problem to buy it, I'm asking just to ensure best chances of success.)

It should be the same, but apparently using small mSD give more chances of a successfull upgrade.

But as your tablet is already bricked, i think it cannot hurt to try the 32gb card...

If you copy the image "as is" on the SD card it will look as a 4GB card. After it, I am not sure how Windows will recognize and format it.

Enhorabuena Manzano90, :campeon: muchas felicidades.

A candid question. Have you tried to disconnect and reconnect the battery?

:gracias:

If you still have not applied manzano's method http://www.htcmania.com/showpost.php?p=9746427&postcount=1 , please, could you try it (at first) without using the RESET button?

Thanks in advance

I confirm manzano's method works. Thanks everyone for all the effort. :dios: It worked without pressing the reset button.

The one problem I've encountered so far, I don't know if it's related to updated software or not, the battery is supposedly 100% full - yet the tablet turns off immediately when I disconnect charging cable. It won't turn back on without charging cable. If I plug the cable out then in, charging LED is shortly red then after about a second becomes and stays green. I'll leave it to charge overnight and check tomorrow morning...

Edit: forgot to say, 32 GB card (Kingston, class 10) worked without any issues. Windows now thinks it has the capacity of about 3 GB, so it needs to be reformatted again for regular use.

Thank You Very Much!!!
This :
It worked without pressing the reset button.
is a very valuable information!!!

Hope you'll find a solution to your battery problem...

Clase 10.

It is all right. Thanks a lot.

Open Windows MMC "Disk Management" and erase all basic partitions (there are four - 4). After it, you will be able to format it as a 32GB card. You can reach it from many places: right click on "Start->System"->Administration

After charging the tablet entire night, this morning again it behaves basically as if it doesn't have a battery at all. It shuts down immediately when I disconnect the charger. I am confused... I'll disassemble it at evening and check battery wires and voltage...

:( bad luck... I'm sorry but i dont think i can help in any way...
It seems hardware related.

Solved, now I have a fully functioning tablet. :-) It seems the repair guy to whom I've brought the tablet earlier to try to fix it, disconnected both battery wires in a futile attempt to reset system settings or something, but "forgot" to tell me about that. At least he didn't charge me anything.

It's interesting that battery electronics seems to be extremely stupid - with wires totally disconnected, tablet was reporting that battery was 100% charged.
