Hola amigos, ya que algunos hemos dado el paso a CM 7.2, veo buena idea compartir nuestras experiencias con los demás usuarios, sean CM (cyanogenmod) o GB (gingerbread). Así, el que tenga problemas con CM puede quizás encontrar alguna que otra solución, y el que esté en GB puede decidirse a dar el paso.
Vamos al grano:
Tenemos una versión que es la más estable, la Alpha 5 de psychogame. Olvidaos de cualquier otra versión de CM por ahora.
Ahora bien, sobre las alphas de psychogame o incluso otras alphas como base, se han realizado bastantes ports (MIUI, Xperia, etc). No recomiendo ningún port por ahora, a no ser que se sepa que está basado en Alpha 5 y no tenga problemas añadidos a los que ya tiene CM. He probado ports basados en Alpha 5 sin que funcione el wifi, cuando funciona perfectamente en la Alpha 5 de psychogame.
Kernels disponibles para CM.
La primera opción, por supuesto, es el kernel proporcionado por psychogame's en el hilo de su Alpha 5. Es un kernel muy básico, con dos gobernadores, BCM y performance, y sin Deep Sleep.
También tenemos el savie, que cada vez que reinicias aparece el asistente de instalación, y pierdes toda tu configuración, etc. Le he enviado dos logcats para que los revise, uno sin scripts en init.d y otro con Adrenaline engine instalado. Este kernel tiene varios gobernadores, así como también la característica Deep Sleep y soporte para sd-ext en el recovery, como es habitual en los kernels de savie. Con este kernel el bluetooth funciona perfectamente, pero de momento queda descartado hasta una próxima actualización.
Otra opción es el Percy CM#2, tiene también gobernadores y Deep Sleep, pero sin soporte para sd-ext en el recovery. El soporte para bluetooth es parcial, puedes enviar archivos pero no recibir, o viceversa, no estoy seguro ahora mismo. Para mí queda totalmente descartado porque a los 5-10 minutos de haber iniciado el lag empieza a aumentar hasta que llega a un punto que el móvil es demasiado lento. Da igual el gobernador y/o frecuencia que utilices, no notarás diferencia. Por lo pronto no recibirá actualizaciones, su autor me ha comentado que está bastante ocupado por ahora.
Conclusión, por ahora lo mejor es optar por el kernel de psychogame, pero no esperes que la batería te dure lo que te dura con savie o percy, simplemente usa tu móvil y disfruta.
Fallos principales de CM / Fixes
Bluetooth no funciona - No os preocupéis, ya queda menos. Si savie corrige ese pequeño fallo en su kernel, tendremos bluetooth.
La cámara no funciona - En realidad si funciona, pero con la aplicación que viene por defecto verás la pantalla en blanco. No te preocupes, descarga "Camera Ilussion" desde el Play Store y tendrás tu cámara perfectamente funcional.
Errores gráficos - Actualmente es el problema que más me preocupa. Llegan a ser muy puntuales, casi inexistentes, pero debería ser completamente solucionado. No se realmente con qué está relacionado, si con el kernel, la ROM en sí.
Y para terminar, animo a todo el que haya probado CM que nos cuente su experiencia y para cualquier duda estaremos por aquí para resolverla.

I'm sad to announce that my Galaxy Y has died on me.
Not completely, but the USB port seems to have died on my phone.
Charging through the connector still seems to work, but other then that the device is not recognized by any computer anymore.
I know a lot of you are thinking of drivers right now, but this is not the problem.
Not even the phone detects anymore when it's connected to the phone.
This renders the device rather useless for developing as a USB port is really important in this case certainly when having a bad kernel.
I have three options left right now.
- First option would be to hand over the complete development to another developer owning this device. Of course I will help you get started with my sources so you can get started where I left.
The second and third option is up to the community
- If there is anybody in the community who knows somebody who doesn't use the Galaxy Y anymore or is willing to donate his/her own phone this would help out a lot as then I can continue myself in this development.
- Or if anyone could spare some money you could also donate it to me over PayPal. These donations will only go towards buying a second hand Galaxy Y, and will be evenly divided between all donates all money which is left in this case will be reimbursed evenly to everyone who donated to me.
Whichever everyone chooses, I want to let everybody know I enjoyed developing for this community.

Resumiendo, que se le estropeó el puerto USB de su Galaxy Y y que ve 3 posibles soluciones a esta situación:
- Dejar en manos de otro el desarrollo de su ROM. Por su puesto, ofreciendo tanto su ayuda como sus sources, etc.
- Que un usuario que no esté usando su Galaxy Y o que simplemente esté dispuesto a donar su móvil, lo done para que él pueda continuar con el desarrollo de su versión de CM.
- Que le donen dinero a través de paypal dinero para comprarse un Y de segunda mano. El dinero que sobrase sería enviado de vuelta a los donantes.

Some people already donated me some money, I wan't to thank those people for their generous gifts.
So far I have 20 Euro in my PayPal account, and everybody who can spare one dollar is already able to help.
But also some people suggested Savie would be a nice follow up for my development work.
I will contact him also to hear where he stands at this point.
Also I will try everything what you guys suggested to get USB to work.
For sure I know it's not magnetization or something like that as I already tried to pull out the battery and hold the powerbutton to ensure all the power left in the board was drained out.
This was also no succes.
I tried reinstalling the drivers (by first removing them, reboot the computer, installing them again and rebooting again) but also this lead to the same error.
In linux also USB recognition fails with a usb error in dmesg.
ADB communication is also not possible, cause the computer doesn't see the phone.
Also USB mass storage mode does not work as if the phone is booted and I put the usb in the computer and the phone it just continues charging and doesn't even recognize it's being coupled with a computer.
Also using another cable rendered the same problems. Some other people who are experienced in repairing such phones said I would need a repair.

Resumiendo, mencionando lo más importante:
Que tiene ya 20 euros en su cuenta paypal, que ha intentado lo que la gente le dice para hacer funcionar el puerto USB (y no ha funcionado) y que le han sugerido a Savie como candidato a seguir con el desarrollo de su ROM y que ha contactado con él.
Y ahora comentar una cosa: Parece que la gente sigue donando, y no creo que este sea el final de CyanogenMod para nuestro Y, sino un impulso. Si savie ha conseguido hacer funcionar perfectamente el bluetooth sin los drivers liberados por Broadcom, no quiero ni pensar que podría hacer este gran desarrollador partiendo desde la Alpha 5 de Psychogame, además de contar con su ayuda. Pero que vamos, un galaxy Y no sale tan caro, y creo que tarde o temprano tendrá un móvil nuevo. Para quien no lo sepa, el puerto USB es fundamental para utilizar la herramienta para desarrolladores ADBm de ahí la "gravedad" del asunto, aunque insisto en que esto pinta bien.
