it this way it seems that my backup mod rom is source for sooooo many.
also Arnau started with my rom's.

pss. in this way by coping ideas we are not gettin nowhere.
i was a noob 6 months ago with Android aka Linux.
i am a windows forever user and an specialist.

psss. a new rom even if it is a backup like all cyanogenmod when from a backup is shared with sooo many out there.
so if it where only intel today we where screwed.
the amd the competition was really good for us all.

Reinicia el movil gueme y prueba a ver.. a mi me paso en alguna rom y con solo reiniciar se arregla. Lo del superuser como bien te dijo roeddie solo es activar el modo depuración en los ajustes.

If u are using only the Data on mobile depending on antena network signal strenght it will be White and when he got fixed the signal it will be green.
Also the H symbol will apear both on White and then if the signal is good it will switch on Green.

Also check the speed u have the app SpeedTest

Where u live u have good 3G coverage ?
In settings u have activated use the 2G only ?
U try setting only use of WCDMA Only.

Where i live now i have low network cover.
I got now 48 kbs download. And upload is the same.
I uploaded over 500 mb ROFusiON the Rom and Themes. From my vs2 directly into mediafire account.
In the city i got full HSDPA Speed and down with over 300 kbs.

Yo pregunté lo de jelly bean por ese comentario que pusiste (el que cito). Alomejor era una ironía y no lo entendí... Precisamente yo mismo dudo bastante que se pueda poner jelly bean. Las roms ocupan mucho. Y los 2gb de rom que dice jj_17 estan bloqueados como bien sabeis y de momento nadie sabe como desbloquearlos, eso limita mucho. Además también sé que no tenemos los drivers necesarios.

Herokick esta intentado portar jelly bean al smart II y por lo que dice ya la tiene terminada.. Si según roeddie no valen los drivers que hay en el foro ahora, habrá que ver qué pasa con esa rom si funciona o no.

Yo sigo con lo de los drivers, Tiago lo esta intentando portar desde otro alcatel , no recuerdo el modelo, creo k el 993 0 991, no lo recuerdo.. Pero si se que los que he posteado , los han utilizado para portar CM a un 991 en version 7.1 cro recordar, tambien dispongo de otro bootloader modificado , del 991 por si a alguien lo quiere para examinarlo

I checked the game permissions (contacts, gps).
I even did some reverse to some original ota 4.
I deleted the security blocker file to see if the game works, i did that and this.
Onestly i don't know where is the problem.
The game is dated back october.
Maybe will work with an update or maybe not.
I can assume that might be a conflict with one of my tweak or mod, maybe is becouse of some incompatibility with ota 4.
I can say that i might ask others that made the ota 4 update, and to see if they had the same problem.
If that will be than a further game update and who knows it will work again.
I can not reverse all the hack,mods i made to ota 3,4 becouse are so many and gives me a headache when i think.
Some one with original ota 4 can test this please.

I have tested its not the ota its only the mods and tweaks in the 0.9.9 in 0.9.8 with ota 3 and 4 it works and its not even in the build prop couse i changed it with the original but with no sucess .....what do you think about the ics rom of herockxx will it work???

well than it's about some mod or a tweak i made.
the problem is that are pretty more of them and i have no clue where/what it might be. and i stayed a whole day to mod.
to bad that i misplaced something.

about ics i prefer to not say nothing let it happen then will see.
once again Dissidius1 sorry for that.
i can sugest u to use another rom not mines since i erased all others exept this one 0.9.9 build 5 also becouse it contains both ota 3 & 4 in it.

Wow take it easy. It is just a guess. Nothing is sure.
Onestly i don't know why this game ask for gps and read contacts. I even saw apps that are doing some more than what is supposed to do. And here is kind of scary.
Returning to this game it might be possible that the default crappy browser can be the cause ?
Anyway i replaced him becouse it has no multitab is way useless and in my opinion dolphin browser mini is the best browser i ever saw and work with on vs2.

I will check that too.

First of all I want to thank you for your great work on the rom of the vodafone smart 2. I flashed my VS2 with your rom and everything works fine except the recovery mode.

My VS2 had no recovery mode at all. So I flashed it with RoFusion and expected to have the full extended recovery mode with activated home-button afterwards. But the home-button is still inactive. I also don't achieve to flash my phone with the 4 options recovery mode, because "roeddie.exe" exits immediately without doing anything, when trying to do this.

Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

Nevertheless I have much fun with my flashed VS2.

the file "roeddie.exe" it is an self unpack archive that unpack by himself in the "C:\Temp"
where the "Temp Directory" might be on uor pc. mine is default on "C:\Temp".
once the file "roeddie.exe" is executed it will take from 15 sec to 1 min or more depending on the pc is running to self unpack in temp and run the batch.
the unpack is running and is done in background so it will not show nothing on screen.
just run the file once and wait some time.
also stop the antivirus or other programs that might interfere with my tool.

for the 4 option recovery Acost has made an excellent tutorial about how to !

i never understand how to install your rom and why you compile your rom in 7z.001

the 7z.001 is an archive like winrar, zip, ace.....made by 7z (7-zip).
7z it is a free archive maker and an non comercial app.
so u can share it with all.

i use the 7z to make the default *.img smaller so instead of 600 mb to be 400 packed.

to install first is to Unpack both the archives
7z.001, 7z.002 just put the 2 files all togheter in an folder than use 7-zip
or winrar to unpack.
just select file 7z.001 and it will auto unpack them both.
remember the 7z.001, 7z.002 just put the 2 files all togheter in an folder

Thank You for this quick answer! I tried to flash the recovery with RoFusion (advanced flashing; option to flash only the 4 option recovery with working keys) like you described it in your blog. Sorry for writing ambiguous in my last post.

First I stopped all programs that might interfere with your tool. Then I ran "roeddie.exe". After your tool started, I chose the number to flash the 4 option recovery and confirmed it with the return-key with the result that RoFusion exited immediately without doing anything. I tried it on several pc's. Without success.

Thank you also for your hint for Acosts tutorial. Unfortunately I don't speak spanish because I'm from Germany. And using google translate was not really helpful. I use this forum because i I didn't find another way to contact you.

Is there a tutorial in english?

the user vakun has just realesed an "eXtended recovery with home working key(s)" i did not tested since i already have eXtended recovery all working, anyway if so i will make an small update with the required files in order to flash and test if it really work.
note: this must be tested only on devices without eXtended recovery it is only for the ones with No recovery at all or for those with just 4 option recovery !

i will post the download link here today.

and yeah me too go on with google translate, just that sometime it messing things.

Since my VS2 had no recoverey at all (only the option to reset it to factory settings with the hint "All data will be lost") I will test the update you announced.

absolute great work. I flashed my VS2 with russian.bat. Now I have full extended recovery mode with active home-button. Everything seems to work fine. Creating a ext partition was no problem and I guess all other options will work too.

after i studied the Russian Recovery, well it seems that is just an simple Recovery
it has not been modified, it is in his Original state, untouched.
Funny whatsoever is that on Europe it works very well.
maybe the russians will use Europe Recovery and who know it might work as well in their phones ?!

Now there is an Recovery, it is an Original Recovery from Russian phone MTC-962
in Europe know as Vodafone Smart II AND IS REALLY WORKING.
Just flash it and u will have Full eXtended Recovery Fully Functional
from where u can install many custom backup roms.

Ese recovery es el antiguo, instalale el recovery extendido nuevo que est aquien el foro, con script romeo, y listo, no hace falta que resetees ni restaures.

En el recovery si que me funciona la tecla Home. Es cuando Android esta funcionando normalmente, cuando no me funciona. Vibra al pulsarlo, pero no hace nada mas.

Pues entonces tienes que volver a instalar la rom, ya que al resetearla se queda en la stockRom italiana y pierde todas las mejoras de la rom,, y se nota bastante. intenta hacer un bacupk de tus aplicaciones para que no las pierdas y las restauras despues de reinstalar la rom, ya que asi solo tienes una stockrom, sin ninguna de las mejoras que trae la Roeddie Evolution .

Puedes cojer al archivo .android de la rom, descomprimirlo con el yaff . ahi estan la otra parte que les faltan a las aplicaciones. copias todo el contenido una vez descomprimido en la carpeta .android de la SD . despues reinicialo y listo, te saldran todas las aplicaciones y la las podras utilizar, asi de simple :-)

Cuando te descargastes la rom, la descomprimistes, te dio unos archivos, entre ellos esta el .android_secure . Lo tienes que abrir con el programa yaff en windows .

Abres el Yaff, buscas la carpeta donde tengas la rom, y ahi luego seleccionas .android_secure y lo abres.

Como veras, hay 32 archivos, los seleccionas todos y le das a export, seleccionas el destino y le das a aceptar. ahora ya lo tienes descomprimido, vete al la SD y crea una carpeta si no la tienes que se llame .android_secure y pegas dentro de ella los 32 archivos . reinicias el mobil y listo, ya tendras en el mobil todas las aplicaciones.

Tal como tienes el mobil, te seria mejor reinstalar la rom y asi lo haces todo el proceso bien y sin los fallos que tienes ahora .
Si la vas a instalar, recuerda hacer lo que te he puesto arriba , y le pones la carpeta .android_secure en la SD antes de flashear la rom, asi cuando la instales ya te saldran todas las aplicaciones a la primera. Tambien recuerda que con el script romeo, tienes que meter todos los archivos que se ven en la 1 imagen que te puse, menos el recovery, que lo tienes que substituir por el nuevo recovery . Asi con todo eso ya tendras completamente funcional y operativa la roeddie v0.9.9 .

Hice lo que me dijiste pero no me funciona, me siguen apareciendo en el menú solo 8 aplicaciones. No hay otra forma de hacerlo?
