Rom compatible con remote droid o similar

estoy pensando en usar mi dropad como smarttv, para eso necesito tres cosas, que el wifi sea estable, que el hdmi funcione perfectamente y que la rom admita remotedroid o similar para controlar el aparato desde el móvil

las roms de jol no cumplen los tres requisitos, en una no funciona el hdmi, y la otra no tiene el módulo que la hace compatible con el remote droid

si alguno ha conseguido controlar su tablet de esta manera, también me valdría el google tv remote, por supuesto o el nuevo software de rikomagic para sus mini pc, perfecto

la rom 4.0 de nogapad tampoco me sirve porque no puedo rootearla y el servidor de remotedroid necesita ser root

bueno, he probado ya tres roms aparte la que tenía de jolocotroco, la penúltima oficial, la cf2 rubberband 2.1.1 y la ice fusion 0.2 de jolocotroco también, y en ninguna funciona el remotedroid, y por lo tanto ningún servidor vnc tampoco, me temo, al menos los que yo he probado no funcionan

imagino que en la original no estaba implementado el módulo, y ninguno de los desarrolladores e ha preocupado de incluirlo ... una lástima

me parece que voy a cambiar mi tablet por un mini pc android, porque al final es el uso que le estoy dando

Yo tengo la GingerIce 1.2 de Jol.
El Hdmi funciona y la wifi es estable.
La condición para que funcione el servidor es:

1) Open terminal emulator
2) su
3) cd /
4) cd dev
5) ls
read if you have /dev/uinput

Comprobado que está el fichero uinput

He descargado el Droidmote server apk de apps4share y el cliente en un teléfono desde el play store.
Se han conectado correctamente tomando el control con el mouse

gracias androman, la gingerice es la que yo tenía en primer lugar, pero no me conectaba ... volveré a ella y te cuento, entiendo que lo que has hecho desde la terminal es solo comprobar que tenía el archivo, no es preciso activar nada para que funcione, no?

Pues primero he bajado la app server del Play y no me ha conectado.
La he devuelto, y luego la he buscado en otros sitios,( por eso te digo que tengo la versión de apps4share, no se si será diferente) , y se ha conectado en cuanto he seleccionado Connect, he puesto la IP del servidor y he pulsado Connect. En la Dropad había pulsado antes el botón para que pusiera "Running" y cuando el cliente se conecta sale una notificación. Luego hay que seleccionar el ratón.

Por lo que se ve en los comentarios de esta app no es muy estable y no siempre conecta. Espero que tengas suerte, pero la versión GingerIce 1.2 cumple los requisitos de esta aplicación como he explicado antes.

estoy con la fusion 0.2 he comprobado que el módulo también existe, he bajado el server del mismo sitio, es la misma versión que yo tenía y no ha funcionado ... voy a volver a ginger ice y a probar de nuevo

Ja,ja, he vuelto a intentar conectar y no he podio. Había apagado y encendido la tablet y el teléfono no. Primero me decía error de crc, y he reinstalado. Después no ha conectado. Mañana lo volveré a intentar, pero creo que esta app no es estable, o falta algo... .

ya he vuelto a ice y nada, no conecta ... pero si tú lo has conseguido y efectivamente el módulo está ahí, ya sabemos que no es ese el problema

Aclarado el misterio. Comprando la licencia en Google Play de Server funciona como un tiro.
Cuando inicia la primera vez saca el mensaje de "comprobando licencia"
La primera vez que la probé como la había comprado y devuelto, funcionó con la .apk descargada, pero una y no más.
Después de comprarla y de haber aprendido a usar el DroidMote, ya no me falla.
No accede a los Settings, me echa con FC, pero por lo demás funciona.

pues no, eso no lo he hecho, he leído a más de uno que lo ha hecho y no le ha funcionado, como otros programas de pago

acabo de comprarlo para hacer la prueba y no he podido conectar ... así que he devuelto la compra :(

bueno, he vuelto a intentarlo desinstalando primero el servidor de "prueba" y comprándolo luego en el google play, lo he estado probando durante los 15 minutos y ahora ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡siiiiiii me ha funcionado!!!!!!!!!!, así que me lo quedo :)

pues resulta que el servidor de droid mote con gingerbread no acepta comandos multitouch, lo que limita bastante su uso como google tv que es para lo que yo lo quiero, he estado en contacto con el autor del programa que ha sido de mucha ayuda y muy amable y solícito y me ha explicado que con versiones 3.0 o superiores la funcionalidad es completa, así que he instalado la fusion 0.2 de jol que es la única que cumple los requisitos con el hdmi funcional y ahora sí que funciona perfecto todo :)
