For 4.0.2.A.0.62 or 4.0.2.A.0.69

To root these two firmware versions, you'll first have to downgrade your phone to 4.0.2.A.0.42 or 4.0.2.A.0.58. Remember: Flashing firmware may void your warranty!

Your data will be lost throug this proceed, save it using for example Android Assistant, which can backup the .apk (but the data will be lost). Save contacts and maybe sms.

MAKE SURE PC COMPANION OR SONY UPDATE SERVICE ISN'T RUNNING IN BACKGROUND WHILE YOU ARE FLASHING!!! DON'T USE THIS METHOD IF YOUR BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED, OTHERWISE YOUR DEVICE WILL BRICK!! (Unlocked bootloader can't do updates over the air!)

First you have to flash the 4.0.2.A.0.42. For that you download and install flashtool from here (http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/).
The firmware you can download from this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477440) thread by benji.berg or here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27376024&postcount=3) by someguyfromhell.
Thx for sharing the firmware with us!
Download the 4.0.2.A.0.42 for your device!

After installation you open the windows explorer and go to the downloaded file. If it is a 7z or zip archive you unpack it, that you have a .ftf file.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271237&stc=1&d=1345452938

Now you go to the flashtool installation folder. There you open the drivers folder and install the drivers.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271239&stc=1&d=1345453003
In the flashtool -> drivers folder is the drivers installer
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271240&stc=1&d=1345453010

Now we go to the downloaded .ftf file and copy it to the firmware folder of flashtool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271242&stc=1&d=1345453104
Programs -> Firmwares:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271244&stc=1&d=1345453299

Then we launch flashtool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1270177&stc=1&d=1345403921

Now, to flash a new firmware, we click on the flash
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271248&stc=1&d=1345453412

In the Mode Selector you choose Flashmode and click ok
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271252&stc=1&d=1345453538

In the next step you choose the firmware and you mark wipe data and wipe cache. Just mark it like in the picture. If you are sure all is marked right, you click ok
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271255&stc=1&d=1345453745

Now you have to turn off your device. Make sure the battery is more than 75%. You hold the volume down and while holding volume down you connect your device to pc. The green led will light up and flashtool will automaticly flash the new firmware.
DON'T DISCONNECT DEVICE FROM PC WHILE THE FLASHING PROCESS!!

Here's the flashing log:

Flashtool method

This is a very easy method to root your phone. For this you download flashtool from here (http://androxyde.github.com/Flashtool/) and install it.

When it is installed, you launch it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1270177&stc=1&d=1345403921

Now you go on your phone and go to Settings -> Applications -> and enable unknown sources.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1270314&stc=1&d=1345409742

After that, you go to Settings -> Applications -> Development -> and enable usb debugging.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1270315&stc=1&d=1345409771

In the end you go to Settings ->Sony Ericsson ->Connectivity ->USB connection mode ->MSC
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1270316&stc=1&d=1345409793

Now you connect your device to pc and flashtool will automaticly recognize it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1270186&stc=1&d=1345410061

Now if your device is connected and recognized, we can begin with the rooting process:

For that we click on the open padlock here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1270318&stc=1&d=1345410260

Now it will root your device automaticly

Gratulation! Now you have a rooted xperia 2011 device!

When your device is rooted, you connect your xperia via wifi with the internet. Now you start the update center (on your phone) and search for updates. It will find the update to 4.0.2.A.0.62 which you install then over the air (ota=via wlan, not connect to pc).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271538&stc=1&d=1345470250
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271284&stc=1&d=1345455562
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1271285&stc=1&d=1345455562

Now you click on download and then install it.

After reboot you have a rooted 4.0.2.A.0.62 firmware! :)

Bien, me he puesto a buscar por xda y he encontrado este hilo:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1842366
