¿donde ROms para novo7 tornados?

Estuve buscando y no encontre Rom cocinadas para mi Ainol novo 7 Tornados. ¿Hay en algun sitio donde pueda acceder a roms que mejoren este tablet?

Ainol Tornado Firmwares (original and custom)
This is the thread for Tornado firmwares:

How to update:
1) Back up your important files before upgrading.
2) Download novo7_tornados_0518.rar and decompress it to TF card root directory. The decompressed files should under TF card root directory and the TF card must be fat32 format.
3) Insert the TF card into the device and keep the tablet off with more than 30% battery. Charging is not recommended during updating.
4) Hold-Press the -Volume and power button for four seconds at the same time. Release the buttons when upper left screen corner shows green instruction.
5) Updating process is automatically and the tablet will be off or restart itself if the updating is success.
6) It takes a little long to start the tablet for the first time.Don't stop process or restart the tablet immediately, it is better to restart 5-10 minutes later.
7) The firmware has been rooted. DON'T use third party apps to root the tablet or replace busybox.
8) Anti-virus, optimization or safe apps are not necessory for the tablet.

SI ( y solo si el custom firmware les funciona ) entonces yo les hago una custom versión con algunas o todas las implementaciones que le hize a mi ROM de la Ainol Basic.

Les encontré esta actualización a ICS 4.0.4 en SLATEDROID.

Google translate seems to have an issue with the official Ainol website, so, I thought I would persevere and find the latest stock firmware there, it proved to be quite simple actually.

Start with www.ainol.com

The next to last button on the header is the download area. Click on it.

The latest Tornados "Cyclone" firmware is currently fourth down on the first screen, here is what it looks like:

Note that the arrow is orange, the filename translates to "Ainol NOVO 7 Cyclone 0619" and "firmware driver" there have been 631 downloads, 316 views, filesize is 202.45 mb and the release date is 2012.06.29 which is a typo, the release date is 2012.06.19

This file contains the 0619 firmware and the patch firmware for additional apps.

Click on the green download button and it takes you to :

You now see at the top that it says the file is "Novo7 Tornados 0619.rar"

Use the "ordinary" download, green button.

Once downloaded, unzip the file. It creates the following :

The last two are Chinese information, although the docx file can be translated somewhat, has images also.

So, now it's quite straight forward and I'll detail the exact steps I used to install.

with no micro SD card installed :

vol- plus power key for 3 or 4 seconds
green messages then android screen followed by recover menu (takes a minute or so, be patient)
select wipe data/factory reset using vol+, scroll to delete all user data, press home button
(message says data wipe complete)
select wipe cache partition
(message says cache wipe complete)
select wipe media partition, scroll to delete all
(message says media wipe complete)

Then, install your fat32 formatted microSD with the above firmware

select apply update from sdcard
choose firmware "Novo7-Tornados.zip" and let the tablet go off on it's adventure (you select using the vol keys and the home button)
on completion, select the reboot option

Following reboot, change the language to English, it is tricky if you do not know what setting tab it is, so find out and then do this :

with no micro SD card installed :

vol- plus power key for 3 or 4 seconds
wait for menu then install that microsd again
select apply update from sdcard
choose firmware "patch.zip" and let the tablet do it's thing again
reboot

That worked for me, of course, as MrsBurnout always says "YRMV" and sometimes problems occur with sdcard compatibility, format, wind direction etc.

I will play with this release, so far I have installed some items from the market and as with any firmware on any tablet, time will tell.

Ver 1.1 is good for both Mars/Tornado; it will pick the model and prompt you to confirm. Ver 1.0 is only for Tornado.

En tabletrepublic les encontré esta info.
El firmware 0619 es el último firmware oficial de la Tornado. Lo he chequeado en la web Ainol.
La versión Custom 0619 por lo que leí esta mejor que el Feiyu Mod 0526 (además que es mas nuevo y con mejoras de serie).

Estuve chequeando el contenido del custom
