How To Root Motorola Droid RAZR On Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread [Tutorial]




Motorola sure is quick with announcing new smartphones. We saw the Droid 3 and Droid BIONIC released recently and we are just a week away from the release of the Droid RAZR (http://www.redmondpie.com/motorola-droid-razr-features-release-date-and-price-everything-you-need-to-know/) which is a high-end superphone exclusive to Verizon Wireless in the USA. Droid RAZR is just another Motorola phone which has been rooted before it has been released because it, apparently, is subject to the same exploit that was used to root Droid 3 and Droid BIONIC. News of the root comes from Droid-Life (http://www.droid-life.com/2011/11/04/droid-razr-rooted/) – a blog dedicated to covering all things Android – in a post where they share a photo of rooted Droid RAZR with superuser (read: root) access.
The method for rooting the Droid RAZR is exactly the same as the method used to root Droid 3 (http://www.redmondpie.com/root-motorola-droid-3-x2-cliq-on-android-2.3.4-gingerbread-with-just-one-click-how-to/), Droid BIONIC (http://www.redmondpie.com/root-motorola-droid-bionic-on-android-2.3.4-gingerbread-how-to-tutorial/) and older phones like the Cliq and Cliq 2, Droid 2 Global, Droid X/X2 and Droid Pro. It is based on an exploit discovered by djrblissand the tool has been written by framework43/psouza4.
It is quite a simple procedure and, if you know how to work your way around a computer, you should be able to get your as-of-yet unreleased Droid RAZR without a hitch. Still, as with any hacking/rooting procedure, there are risks involved so you must consider them and proceed carefully.

How To Root Motorola Droid RAZR On Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread In One Click

Step 1: Download and install Motorola Drivers for your Windows PC (this doesn’t work on other operating systems): 32-bit (http://www.mediafire.com/?71c12qc4a1svqza) or 64-bit (http://www.mediafire.com/?8rb7bpvp2b9vy2f).
Step 2: Download MotorolaOnceClickRoot_psouza [Mediafire Link (http://www.mediafire.com/?g226n7as6cb1y6e)] and extract its contents using a suitable software (7-zip is highly recommended).
Step 3: From your Droid RAZR’s homescreen, tap Menu button and enable USB Debugging from Settings > Applications > Development.
Step 4: Connect your Droid RAZR with your PC and select Charge Only option from notifications drawer.
Step 5: Navigate to where the folder you unzipped in Step 2 to and run MotorolaOneClickRoot.exe and follow on-screen instructions to get root access to your Droid RAZR.
If you followed the steps correctly, your Droid RAZR should now be rooted on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

Yo tengo instalado el root de DooMLoRD_v2 desde ayer por la mañana, y aparentemente todo ok, me aparece la apli de superusuario en Aplicaciones y en algunas aplicaciones me pide si quiero activar el modo superusuario. Había gentte que se quejaba que con este root que no les funcionaba el Wi-Fi, pero ayer por la noche lo probé en un bar y todo perfecto. Si alguien quiere probar, lo puedo subir. También existe unroot para este mismo root pero todavía no lo he probado...

Cuidado que a mí a partir del cuarto día fue cuando me empezó a dar fallos en la pantalla y se me bloqueaba, si te pasa lo mismo avisa-lo por favor para saber si era mi móvil o es así en todos.

Tuve que hacer unroot porque empezaba a ir cada vez peor.

alguien le ha pasado que hizo el root, segun todo bien, algunas apps les permite el permiso de superuser, pero trate de instalar CMW y no me da el permiso previo para el bootstraps, desinstale e instale y nada, rerotee y nada, use el unroot y no lo desinstala, da error en unos archivos de only read files, alguna idea?

prueba otro metodo de root... yo los he probado todos y no recuerdo cual no me daba permiso, me toco probar varias veces hasta que se cogio.
