Overview: RPN Scientific Calculator 42S is a Windows Phone 7 port of Thomas Okken’s excellent Free42, a complete re-implementation of the highly praised HP-42S RPN scientific calculator. Thomas’ original code was written from scratch, without using any HPhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif code or using any ROM images, yet it is fully HP-42S compatible. This calculator provides all the functionality of the original HP-42S including several hundred built-in functions, extensive programmability, and printer output emulation.

- Complex numbers
- Real and complex matrix operations
- Solver & numerical integration
- Statistics
- Base conversions and arithmetic
- Programmable function keys
- Extensive programmability for custom functionality. Existing HP-42S code packages can be leveraged for Engineering, Scientific, Financial, Statistical, etc functionality. Backward compatible with HP-41CX programs.
- Internally stores values and performs operations in 25 digit decimal precision.
This initial release does not yet support the following features, though we hope to include them in future updates as the Windows Phonehttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif 7 platform evolves:
- Import and export of programs to PC and/or cloud storage (e.g. Windows Live Skydrive)
- Exportable printouts
- Ability to optionally use hardware and/or pop-up keyboards for ALPHA mode text entry
