In http://wiki.xda-developers.com/themes/default/images/http.pngthis thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=337084) you can find http://wiki.xda-developers.com/themes/default/images/ftp.pngHERMES_MountExtROM.CAB (ftp://xda:[email protected]/Hermes/Tools_and_Programs/HERMES_MountExtROM.CAB) which should unprotect and make the Extended ROM visible in file explorer (after having made a soft reset).
If you want to hide it again use this registry hack (untested):
