Por si a alguien le ocurre lo mismo que a mí:

Tras cambiar de puerto Usb, comprobar que las opciones de cuenta, desbloqueo , depuración usb estaban marcadas y actualizar mi unlock a la última versión, obtenía siempre el mismo problema "You need to use your device a bit longer to proceed Try again in"
Solución que me ha funcionado -descargar versión vieja de mi unlock , la 2.2.624.14-, gracias a: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7/help/unlock-bootloader-failure-t3920565
I had the same issue, I was using the Mi unlock tool found on miui.com/unlock (3.3.827.31) which gave me that chinese error message after waiting for 360 hours, then I found another version on the miui forum (3.3.1212.33) this time the message was in english : "You need to use your device a bit longer to proceed, Try again in 7 days.", finally I used an earlier version (2.2.624.14) found here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/red...t3791083/page9, download link : https://www27.zippyshare.com/v/XbiIkf2j/file.html which worked perfectly.
