Problema de lentitud - CPU 100% y duración bateria con cuenta EXCHANGE

Os cuento por encima un problema detectado en FROYO (Android 2.2) y que por lo visto han debido solventar con el parche 2.2.1

El problema viene con las cuentas de Exchange y la sincronización de las mismas a traves de SSL.

Por lo visto se produce un bucle en la reconexión y hace que la CPU se ponga al 100% de uso de forma continuada y que se CALIENTE EL TERMINAL.

Esto lo he detectado gracias a la aplicación SeePU++

Lo que me hacia sospechar es que alguna aplicación era la causante del LAG del terminal y no era problema de las veriones de FROYO sino de la aplicación de correo y o calendario que hace que se produzca ese bucle de conexión, causante del aumento del uso de la CPU, calentamiento de terminal y por consiguiente escasa duración de la bateria.

Otra cosa a tener en cuenta es que la sincronización por defecto "diferida" hacia que cuando tenias el terminal bloqueado sufriese este mismo problema y cuando querias darte cuenta ya tenias el terminal bloqueado.

Espero que esto se solvente pronto en las proximas actualizaciones de FROYO para nuestro querido terminal.

No es necesario, lo que hay que mirar es si tienes configurada una cuenta de exchange que no este puesta la sincronización activada en modo diferido (que es la que pone por defecto al configurar una cuenta de correo de exchange de empresa)

Con ponerla cada 5 o 10 minutos parece que va bien.

Bueno veo que la mayoria de la gente del foro no usais o teneis configurada cuenta de exchange en vuestro terminal, pero la gente que lo tenga me gustaria que diese su opinion o comentase como le va la sincronizacion para corroborar el problema.

Jejeje, pues es una cuenta de correo de empresa, Microsoft Exchange (es el servidor de correo)

Estas cuentas, tienen ademas del buzon de correo , calendario , contactos... Por eso cuando se configuran las cuentas en los terminales tienes 3 tipos para elegir: IMAP, POP3 y Exchange.

De ahi que no a todo el mundo le suceda esto, ya que mucha gente usa las cuentas "publicas" y no de este tipo. La mayoria de las empresas que tienen Microsoft Exchange como servidores de correo tienen tambien implementado el sistema de blackberry (BES).

Froyo 2.2 Update - Calendar Sync Problem to Outlook through MS Exhange

So, I have really enjoyed the HTC Incredible for the past 4 months - great phone on the Verizon network. The other day, the 2.2 update arrived and installed. All seemed ok, except the phone kept constantly trying to sync my Outlook calendar through my MS Exchange server at work. Phone was hot, and chewed through the battery. I went to the Verizon store, and we deleted my Exchange ActiveSync account, and readded it. This seemed to fix it. My emails, contacts, and calendar synced back on my phone (with the annoying issue of all my events on my calendar being duplicated . . . ).

So, today I notice that phone is returning an error on attempting to sync the calendar. It syncs mail and contacts fine, but returns the message "The Exchange Server returned some status errors." What happens is if I enter an event, or change an event on my phone, it syncs accurately and immediately to my Outlook calendar on my work PC through Exchange. But, if I add events or change them on my work PC, nothing syncs back to my phone! Ugh!

Is anyone having this issue, and know how to fix it? I am certain it is is related to the 2.2 download/update.

I noticed that the yin/yang (sync) icon at the top of my screen kept popping up more than usual after the update. Looking through the items I have set to sync (Menu -> Settings -> Accounts & Sync), I reviewed all the things I have set and disabled the sync settings for the things I did not want. After disabling the "Backup Assistant", "Google", "News", "Stocks" and "Weather", I thought for sure the issue would be resolved. Not yet. When those adjustments didn't change the frequency of the sync, I decided to look at the Exchange Active Sync and to my surprise, the culprit was revealed - the calendar was stuck in a sync loop (syncing over and over). I disabled the "Sync Calendar" feature and the phone stopped it's maddening attempt to refresh the calendar.

To fix it, I cleared the data in the Calendar applications (Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> All [tab at the top]). Scroll down the list and open each of the Calendar items and click the "Clear Data" button.

It seems that adjustments made to events before the update were kept in the phone's local storage. After the update, the calendar data in the phone's cache wasn't happy with my Exchange calendar. After performing these steps, everything is back to normal. Good luck!

Yo uso exchange en el galaxy y sin problemas de batería o sobre calentamiento. Puede tener que ver con que uso el touchdown y no la aplicación nativa.

Yo igual uso Exchange en mi Galaxy, en un principio con la aplicación nativa y ahora con Touchdown y en ningún caso tuve problemas...

Yo tengo configurada una cuenta de Exchange y cuando voy a la bandeja de entrada no me deja abrir los correos o desplazarme por ellos (va a saltos y debe ser el problema de la CPU). Cómo se soluciona? Tengo la Galaxy S de Vodafone y me gustaría aplicarle un parche o algo asi. Gracias a todos

Hola. Necesito por favor que alguien me confirme si se le ha solucionado el problema. Tengo Galaxy S de Vodafone y la he actualizado a 2.2.1 XXJPX modificando el registro del KIES y todo ha ido correctamente pero ahora veo que puedo añadir la cuenta pero no sincroniza nada.
