No me funciona tethering (compartir internet) con el nokia 8

Buenas.
A ver si alguien ha tenido el mismo problema.
Acabo de comprarme un Nokia 8 en amazon, buen precio, muy contento.
Pero no me funciona el tethering. Con mi anterior movil la SIM y Vodafone funcionaba perfectamente. Ha alguien más le pasa esto?
Si no consigo que funcione no me vale el movil.
He reseteado de fábrica, intentado poner APN manuales y nada2

Lo probé ayer mismo y a mi si me funciona.

Hay otro user en este foro que tambien se quejo de ello. ¿Que version de android tienes y como lo haces?

¿Que problema realmente tienes? El ordenador no ve el wifi creado por el PC, se conecta al wifi pero no tienes internet luego?

Hola.
A mi siempre me ha funcionado con la SIM de Vodafone y varios moviles libres.
Y en el NOKIA 8 funciona con la SIM de otras companías pero con la mía no.
Se activa el tethering y lo reconoce el otro dispositivo y se conecta sin problemas pero no tiene internet.
La verdad que no se como solucionarlo y vodafone dice que no es problema de ellos.

Una pena porque si no funciona tendré que devolver el móvil.

A mi tampoco me funciona. Se me conecta el otro móvil pero no tiene Internet. Es algo raro. Tengo Android 8.1

Me pasaba lo mismo al actualizar a Android 8.1 incluso escribí al servicio Nokia. Con la actualización de seguridad de marzo funciona otra vez

A mi me pasó exactamente lo mismo. Fue instalar la actualización del parche de seguridad de marzo y como si no hubiera pasado nada xD

Pues hace unos días se arregló solo, antes de instalar la actualización de marzo.
Lo mismo era un problema puntual de Vodafone.
Ahora va perfecto.

Si entrais, lo interesante es que ay una solucion. Se ve que el tethering puede depender de la compañia de internet y en el ultimo firmware han dejado la opcion que sea la compañia quien decida. Pero hay una forma de volver al estado anterior sin problemas. Copio el post entero por si se borra.


Tethering is quite often controlled by your SIM card operator, it works for me without any issues on Oreo 8.1 but I do have to have a 3g or 4g data connection for it to work. Some people have managed to get operator restrictions with this by changing a setting with ADB. It's not really complicated if you follow the exact instructions, I've copied and pasted these from another post on these forums, it's worth trying it.



1 - Put your phone in debugging mode



Under Setting -> system -> about phone, tap repeatedly on Build Number, until the prompt asks if you want to enable developer mode



2 - Enable USB debugging on your phone



Under Setting -> system -> Developer options turn on USB Debugging



3 - plug your phone into USB, there may be a popup to allow remote debugging, allow this.



4 - Download the Android SDK - I highly recommend you get the official ones from Android, but I've zipped the exact ones I used and put them on my server here : sargunar.com/platform-tools.zip



5 - Unzip the platform tools (either from Android - recommended - or me above)



6 - Open a command window, and browse to the folder where you have the files.



7 - Type the following and press the [Enter] key



adb shell



This starts the Android shell (terminal where commands can be typed), which can work on your phone.

Once in the shell, type this:



settings put global tether_dun_required 0



Press return. To confirm it worked, type this and press return:



settings get global tether_dun_required



It should print out a zero.



Then type either quit or exit



And that's it
