Cubot H3: review, especificaciones y primeras impresiones

Nos han enviado un nuevo terminal del fabriante Cubot para analizar, en concreto el modelo Cubot H3, un terminal que destaca, por encima de todo, por su enorme batería de 6000 mAh. A decir verdad este aparato nos retrotrae a una época en la que los teléfonos eran grandes, pesados, poco potentes y no muy llamativos. No voy a decir que este Cubot H3 sea feo, no lo es. Pero su aspecto es de hace 2 o 3 generaciones atrás. Si tenemos en cuenta que su interior tampoco te va a deslumbrar, nos encontramos ante un teléfono que sólo te interesará si realmente necesitas una batería gigante.

Y este, el Cubot H3. Es pesado, grueso y su aspecto no te va a enamorar. Como he comentado, a nivel estético parece un terminal de hace un par de años, en casi todos los sentidos. Tenemos marcos enormes por todos lados.

El chasis es de metal y como veis, muy grueso... esa batería hay que meterla en algún lado!. Lo que sí es cierto es que el aparato se ve sólido y bien construido. En el lateral derecho tenemos toda la botonería: arriba volumen y abajo, power. Ambos botones, también de metal, tienen un tacto y un recorrido adecuados.

Arriba encontramos el puerto de carga microusb y el jack para los auriculares.

Y abajo, sólo la salida del altavoz. Se trata por tanto de un terminal al que podréis quitar la tapa para acceder a la batería y a los slots.

La trasera es bastante sosa y algo sucia, aunque tampoco en exceso. Tenemos una cámara doble en la esquina superior izquierda y un lector de huellas algo más abajo.

Este terminal monta un SoC conformado por un procesador MTK6737, quadcore a 1.3Ghz, junto con una GPU Mali 720. El sistema corre con 3GB de RAM y 32GB de ROM. A día de hoy es una configuración desfasada y ampliamente superada por casi cualquier teléfono. Pero sí, sirve para tarenas cotidianas no muy exigentes, claro.

La cámara principal es de 13MPX y cuenta con una lente de apoyo de 0.3MPX para efectos de desenfoque. Sin ser nada de otro mundo, se ha comportado bien, aunque la toma de imágenes es algo lenta, algo que podíamos esperar. La delantera llega a los 5MPX.

Quizá busques un teléfono con una batería que te proporcione dos días de uso continuado y te dé un poco igual todo lo demás. Si es el caso, este Cubot H3 puede ser una buena opción para ti. En otro caso no te va a gustar: no es llamativo, es algo lento y no destaca por ninguno de sus componentes.
