UMIDIGI Z Pro: review, especificaciones y primeras impresiones

El fabricante UMIDIGI, anteriormente conocido como UMI, tiene "nuevo" terminal en el mercado, de nombre UMIDIGI Z Pro. Y ponemos nuevo entre comillas porque es practicamente idéntico a su anterior lanzamiento, el UMI Z. ¿Y qué cambia entonces? pues basicamente la cámara, que ahora es dual. ¿Justifica entonces su compra si tengo un UMI Z? obviamente no. Parece más bien un lanzamiento obligado por el cambio de nombre que otra cosa. En todo caso, sigue siendo un terminal fantástico. Vamos a verlo.

En la inferior tenemos el botón HOME, que hace las veces de lector de huellas. Podremos tener botones virtuales en la pantalla o si lo queremos, en la parte exterior, junto al botón de HOME. Sí echo en falta que, si elegimos esta segunda opción, estos se iluminen.

El cuerpo es de aluminio, de buen aspecto. En el lateral derecho encontramos toda la botonería: arriba volumen y abajo, encendido. Ambos botones, también de metal, tienen un tacto y un recorrido adecuados.

Si nos vamos al lado opuesto encontramos el slot para las SIMs o para una SIM y una tarjeta de expansión de la ROM (hasta 256GB).

Este terminal cuenta con un SoC conformado por una CPU, el Helio X27, decacore a 2.6Ghz y una GPU Mali 880. El sistema corre con 4GB de RAM y 32GB de ROM. Configuración potente e ideal para cualquier tipo de tarea. Se trata, nuevamente, de las mismas especificaciones que teníamos en el UMI Z.

Al fin encontramos una diferencia entre el UMI Z y este Z Pro, la cámara. O cámaras, porque este Z Pro monta dos cámaras en la parte trasera, por una del modelo original. No sólo eso, estas vienen firmadas por Sony (sensor IMX258, 13MPX ambas), frente al sensor de Samsung anterior, siendo además de 6 lentes en lugar de 5 de ese primer modelo. La doble cámara permite obtener retratos y primeros planos más logrados, con desenfoques más acusados. La aplicación de la cámara permite además jugar con más opciones relativas a este aspecto del desenfoque. El resultado, como era de esperar, es notable. Personalmente prefiero el sensor de Sony al de Samsung.

El UMIDIGI Z sigue siendo tan buen teléfono como el anterior UMI Z, basicamente porque es el mismo. Si encuentras el anterior a gran precio, sin duda es mejor opción. Si no, este UMIDIGI Z Pro es un producto excelente en todos los sentidos.
