Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X: review, especificaciones y primeras impresiones

Xiaomi sigue sacando smartphones como churros, con nomenclatura similar, lo cual estoy convencido de que confunde a los usuarios en ocasiones... pero es lo que hay. Nos han hecho llegar el nuevo Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, una evolución del anterior Redmi Note 4, puesto a la venta el verano pasado. Con un aspecto practicamente idénticos y unas especificaciones algo mejoradas, sigue siendo una muy buena opción para quien quiera un Xiaomi con pantalla grande y de bajo precio.

Y este, el Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. Es grande, su pantalla es de 5.5 pulgadas, pero se siente realmente ligero en la mano. La sensación es muy buena. Al cogerlo irremediablemente notas que el chasis es de metal.

Veamos al lateral derecho. Como hemos comentado, todo el chasis es de aluminio, también la botonería. Arriba tenemos el botón de volumen y debajo, el de encendido. Ambos botones tienen un tacto y un recorrido perfecto.

A diferencia del modelo Note 4, que optó por un Helio X20 de Mediatek, este 4X apuesta por un procesador Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, octacore a 2Ghz, junto con una GPU Adreno 506. El sistema corre con 3GB de RAM y 32GB de ROM (existe versión 4+64). Se trata por tanto de una configuración muy alejada de los modelos más potentes del momento, pero totalmente solvente para ejecutar cualquier tarea cotidiana sin problema alguno. Se mueve realmente suave en todo momento.

La cámara de este 4X es de 13MPX y viene firmada por Sony, en concreto mediante el sensor IMX258, algo superior al que veíamos en el modelo original. La cámara, en condiciones buenas de luz, se comporta de manera notable, con buen detalle y un desenfoque destacable. Pero no deja de ser una cámara de un dispositivo económico, no lo podemos olvidar. No tiene enfoque PDAF ni cuenta con estabilizador. Su apertura es F/2.0. Como digo, una cámara más que decente para este terminal.

Sobre el wifi, este se comporta de la manera esperada, sin destacar especialmente en ningún sentido. En la prueba realizada con la app "Wifi Analyzer" nos hemos conectado a una red de 2,4Ghz y a un router que está a unos 15 metros.

Es necesario hablar de la batería, de 4100 mAh. Tiene un rendimiento excelente, proporcionando un día de uso intensivo sin problema. Se carga en aproximadamente 2 horas.

Resulta complicado que no te guste este nuevo smartphone de Xiaomi. Es bonito, elegante, moderadamente potente, con una cámara a la altura y muy buena autonomía. ¿Se puede pedir mucho más por lo que vale? yo diría que no. Interesante, también la versión 4+64.

La versión Android que tenemos de serie es la 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Como es habitual, tenemos instalada la capa MIUI, en este caso, versión 8.1

Sobre el wifi, este se comporta de la manera esperada, sin destacar especialmente en ningún sentido. En la prueba realizada con la app "Wifi Analyzer" nos hemos conectado a una red de 2,4Ghz y a un router que está a unos 15 metros.

Es necesario hablar de la batería, de 4100 mAh. Tiene un rendimiento excelente, proporcionando un día de uso intensivo sin problema. Se carga en aproximadamente 2 horas.

Resulta complicado que no te guste este nuevo smartphone de Xiaomi. Es bonito, elegante, moderadamente potente, con una cámara a la altura y muy buena autonomía. ¿Se puede pedir mucho más por lo que vale? yo diría que no. Interesante, también la versión 4+64.
