3gb ram and 16gb rom variant?

Can anyone explain the fact that I have 3gb ram and 16gb internal storage, and it is bq aquaria x5 all the roms in this forum have been tested on it.
So why does my phone have 3gb ram and 16gb rom, bq never made such varient
