Hi, NeoZion, excelent rom, my favorite! Therefore, thank you!
But...a few bugs. I'm portuguese, so, every words that have "ç", "ã", "õ" in the settings, menus, etc, are not visible. There's a gap where those letters should be.
Altough the mi account is working, i was not able to synchronize my files, contacts, etc. Altough the synchronization it's on, it does'n work, because when i acess the cloud, it's empty.
The torch (flashlight) still as the same problem as the previous rom, only works for a second or two and them turns off.
And of course, the camera.

I know that you have your work and your own life, but please, see if you can turn this rom "perfect". The camera, i think, it's the most relevant.

I wanna thank you again for your work and for sharing it with all of us.

Install Roboto font, go to screen, system font and search for Roboto, install it and reboot. (I'm also portuguese and noticed that bug).
You must be connected to your Xiaomi account for that by the way, the camera issue is all about the drivers I think.
Because you need certain drivers to connect the camera app to the real camera of the phone.

I manage to use sugar by pwr+vol up and get to download mode.
The problem is that it's really in a loop and the recovery is innacessible and as long as the phone has battery, it just keeps going like that.

The only thing that makes it "stop" this loop is Volume Down + Power, which makes the splash screen stay, without rebooting, but it also doesnt show up in fastboot devices either.

And I tried using Sugar to flash the stock firmware back on the phone but it keeps giving me an error, saying no phone was detected

7044x.
You have to flash the kernel in Neo.Zion Miui Rom.
This Rom is great it has ota updates also. the russians did a great job
in these rom´s. the only thing is that don´t have Wifi because
of kernel drivers...

I think the best rom´s to port to prime 6 is 7044x Rom´s..

Yes, the only thing not working is wifi and camera, but that´s has to do with kernel drivers not corrected with that rom..

How long during reboots? I also had one trouble like that, the phone always rebotting in 1 or 2 sec. My solution was to take out
the battery and connect again. You have to disassemble your phone... It´s pretty easy i think thers
one vídeo on youtube explaining how to do.

If your phone is charging ok, then it shouldn't be much of a problem.

The way I used was to let the phone run out of battery completly, then, press Volume down + power and only AFTER your fingers are in place, conect your charger (should be in AC, not PC, yet.) to the phone.

Now, before you rush to the phone, I was only able to enter download mode once at like, the 10th try or so.
So a little patience is necessary, the mode is there and it's acessible.
But the incorrect kernel keeps interfering, I think.

Anyway, once you finnaly get to download mode, you'll notice when you get there, let go of the 2 buttons and just press Volume Up, once that is done you might want to leave it charging for awhile, just in case the PC doesn't supply enough power (bear in mind that sugar needs a lot of time to download/flash stuff, several hours, prepare your battery for that :) )

Once you think it has enough juice, simply disconnect from AC and connect to PC whilst still in download mode.

after that i can't help u much because i never went that far, bu there is a guide here on HTC about unbricking our phione in ~10minutes or so, I was following that as well.

Anyway, good luck with that ! :-)

Edit: oh yeah, I almost forgot, each time you try to "force boot" the device into download mode, you have to let the phone run out of battery again, before trying it another time.

Slight off-topic: this would all be avoidable if the battery was removable -.-'

Also, I don't really mean to speak bad of you, but you are on a forum about modding your phone,

I mean, sooner or later something bad is always bound to happen.
Even with backups it's still a little dangerous, I tried that ROM because I was willing to take that chance, and I had a spare phone if I need it,

Also I was here to help testing and debugging ROMs and also because I'm gonna buy a new phone anyway (because of the charging issue).

Please don't be impolite to the person who posted it, I simply said (in error yeah) to NOT flash it because I was afraid others would do the same as I did.

This is how I solve it!

Make sure you have enought juice (battery) on the phone, if not, charge it! Regardeless of the constant boot loop!!!!
As soon as you have enought battery, connect the phone to the PC.

Now, I've tried Vol+ and power and also Vol- and power, and I wasn't able to enter Download Mode no matter what!
So, again, to me, what worked was pressing both Volume "buttons", YES, right in the middle of the Volume button!
So, pressing the Volume button, and therefore, (I know I'm repeating my self!) pressing Vol+ and Vol- at the same time pressing the Power button I was able to enter Download Mode (leave your fingers there until Download Mode appears!).
A warning will appear, them, press ONLY Vol+ button and leave your finge there until the PC (windows OS) recognizes finnally the phone!

Open Sugar with administrator rights (That's what I did!), click OK in the password, etc menu, choose your phone model VF-895N, click start download, if you have a rooted phone it will give a error, click OK, and wait (in my case 40 minuts) to the download and flashing of the latest stock firmware and official OS.

The phone rebooted it self and everything was allright again.

Again, that procedure worked with me!!

Try it and give some feed back.

That's a risk we have to be willing to accept. The alternative, don't do anything and hang on to the officcial stock ROM.

Bueno, unas sugerencias después de ver como va este tema del VF895N.

Parece que se esta demorando los problemas de cámara de esta ROM. Una pena porque iba muy bien, pero sabemos que no es fácil y desde aquí animamos a Neo@zion a finalizar el proyecto.

No intentéis flashear ROM, que no están completamente destinadas al modelo en concreto y menos si tenéis solo ese móvil. Si tenéis uno de repuesto pues intentarlo siempre sacaréis conclusiones.

Para este modelo (VF895N), si tenéis un bootloop continuo y no podéis entrar en recovery, podemos entrar en Modo Download (vol + y vol - al mismo durante unos) y con la ayuda de Sugar QCT, flashear la ultima ROM de Vodafone. Evidentemente perderéis toda la informacion que habia en el terminal, pero salvaremos el móvil, en el mejor de los casos.

Otro punto sobre el flasheo por Sugar es que, en algunos casos se quedaba pillado en el 5% de progreso, había comentarios de que se solucionaba actualizando Sugar, o borrando los datos de la carpeta Data, en ninguno de los casos a mi me funcionó. Mi solución, hacer el proceso bajo windows xp y no con window 7, pues sí el flasheo se desarrolló sin ningún problema.

Lo de desmontar la batería, ni locos lo hagáis, no soluciona el problema, por lo menos en mi caso y el simple hecho de volver a conectar la cámara a la placa , es un polvo...

Solo he querido comentar mi experiencia con este VF895N, espero que os sirva de ayuda. Saludos.

Para este modelo (VF895N), si tenéis un bootloop continuo y no podéis entrar en recovery, podemos entrar en Modo Download (vol + y vol - al mismo durante unos) y con la ayuda de Sugar QCT, flashear la ultima ROM de Vodafone. Evidentemente perderéis toda la informacion que habia en el terminal, pero salvaremos el móvil, en el mejor de los casos.

Otro punto sobre el flasheo por Sugar es que, en algunos casos se quedaba pillado en el 5% de progreso, había comentarios de que se solucionaba actualizando Sugar, o borrando los datos de la carpeta Data, en ninguno de los casos a mi me funcionó. Mi solución, hacer el proceso bajo windows xp y no con window 7, pues sí el flasheo se desarrolló sin ningún problema.

Lo de desmontar la batería, ni locos lo hagáis, no soluciona el problema, por lo menos en mi caso y el simple hecho de volver a conectar la cámara a la placa , es un polvo...

Solo he querido comentar mi experiencia con este VF895N, espero que os sirva de ayuda. Saludos.

Eliminar la ROM previamente descargada con el SUGAR_QCT soluciona el crash que sucede al 5% del progreso, teneis que borrar la carpeta "downloaded", esto permitirá que la aplicación descargue un nuevo firmware para el teléfono y acabará solucionando el softbrick/hardbrick que tengais, lo tengo comprobado.
