EX Kernel Manager (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flar2.exkernelmanager) can be used to configure settings and update or install the kernel quickly and easily.

You can also use my free app Button Mapper (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flar2.homebutton) to configure the fingerprint sensor/home button.
