hi,

My VDF Smart Prime 6 was Hard Bricked, i could not use the Tool for recovery since the phone was not detected on Windows.

You need to short one test point to get the phone in QDL Mode when this happens.

Download the tool from http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=1089272 and install the drivers .

You will have to open the phone to get access to the test point.

Remove the antenna cable from the battery , and remove the battery.

You will find near the sim card holder a small test point that you need to short to ground to get the phone in QDL mode.

Connect your usb cable to the computer and leave the sound on the computer turned on so you can hear when the phone is detected by windows.

Short the point to ground , i used a small wire to do it.

Windows will detect a new comm port QD_Loader 9008 .

Remove the short and reconnect the battery.

Follow the steps from 5 to 10 on the link above.

After the recovery is completed , put back the antenna wire, the back cover, the screws and you are done.

What do you mean "short the point to ground?"
and how to remove battery? :(

PC recognize the phone, but Sugar shows error (5002) or something..
please help me :(

Just lift the battery contacts (white plug ) see picture.

to short to ground , use a small wire and connect the ground point ( green circle ) to ground (yellow circle)

the ground point is the small copper circle besides the sim card holder.

I had to unzip the recovery tool to another folder and let it update all over again since i was getting errors when flashing the stock rom .

Podes usar um cabo de um portátil antigo por exemplo. Muitos tem cabos desse pequenos a ligar WiFi .
