Quirks:


GPS: After first install, turn on GPS and reboot.
APN: To prevent APN list forceclose I have removed the APN-list. A backup can be found at "/system/etc/apns-conf-old.xml" find you APN here and add it manually. (Also attached)
Trackball: Trackball might glow once, but that's it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Installation:


Enter Custom Recovery (Amon-Ra or similar)
WIPE Data
WIPE Dalvik-Cache
Install Update from SD Card ->NeORoM2.x.zip
Wait for boot and complete Setup Wizard.
Turn on GPS.
Reboot.
Enjoy.

NK Update
NK update is just a new boot image with the kernel I have compiled from Behnaams kernel source. It enables overclocking the device to 710MHz using overclock widget from the market (not included) and hopefully should fix some stability and battery issues, but read more on the kernel itself for info.

You don't need to wipe or anything, just copy to your SD and from recovery, flash the 21NK.zip.

I'm not sure if I have set permissions correctly for the new wlan.ko module that has been compiled for use with this so let me know if wifi doesn't work. (if not, a simple "chmod 644 /system/lib/modules/wlan.ko" should fix it.)

vvaleta28, voy a hacer un amago con Orange, ¿merece la pena pillarme la Desire? Con la Hero, la verdad, estoy contento. Tengo dudas si esperarme un poco a ver si traen algo mejor, tengo mucho consumo y muchos puntos, y no gustaria malgastarlos.

HOY por hoy, aunke creo ke no es el sitio mas adecuado para decirlo jejeje, el nexus es la mejor opcion, es la apuesta mas segura dentro del mundo android , ademas el nexus por lo visto va bastante mas rapido ke el desire, sera por el sense. de exo yo me e pillado el nexus y aunke orange me ha tentado ofertandome el desire me e kedado el nexus, ke me llega el dia 1 jujuju, mirad lo ke ha tardado en actualizar, a sido una delicia..

aver ke me decis, la verdad es ke la desi espreciosa pero, entre ke el nexus el android por excelencia, aora con froyo es el mejor movil del mercado sin duda y hatc con sus actualizaciones es una petarda, yo no e dudado

Eso es muy personal, a mi, no me gusta sin sense y la desire tiene mucho camino, si no hace nada htc, ya lo haran los cocineros.
Son dos grandes terminales, al gusto.

Tengo 2 dudas:
Va bien la camara (se ve verde)???
Y con el GPS, a ver si lo he entendido bien: hay que instalar la ROM se reinicia el telefone se entra en el OS se activa el gps y se vuelve a apagar y encender???

El gpg va bien, solo hay que encenderlo, y reiniciar. Yo no lo toco y funciona. Va muy rápida, y el OC funciona a la perfección con overclockwidget. Friendstrem funciona bien, aunque sigo pensando que este programa no vale para nada.

Problemas: se me cambian los colores: un bug de roms de hace tiempo, que se pone todo un poco morado y al rato ya se pone bien.

No me funcionan los widget como bateria, dados, notas, etc, incluso después de reiniciar y limpiar sense varias veces

Batería: en 17 horas siempre wifi o datos ha consumido un 44%

fps y mflops más altos que con cronos 1.3.

No va muy fluida, la cámara se ve verde y no se pueden descargar los nuevos widgets de htc. Por lo demás esta bien
