CyanogenMod 12 (5.0.2)

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github Repo.

Installation Instructions

- Coming from 5.0 or less ROMS
Download cm-12-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-galaxysmtd.zip to your phone
Boot into Recovery
Wipe all your data (System/Data/Dalvik Cache)
Flash cm-12-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-galaxysmtd.zip from your phone
(Optional)Flash Google Apps.zip from your phone
Reboot

- Coming from previous CM 12 build
Wipe cache
Flash cm-12-XXXXXXXX-UNOFFICIAL-galaxysmtd.zip from your phone
Flash GApps again if you're using PA version
Reboot

Probada. Gracias por esta muy buena rom. La lástima, es que no me reconoce la sim y no puedo usar el teléfono. También me da un error el youtube.

Gracias por el post, Carlos. Yo no publiqué nada de esta rom porque aún está verde. Según dice el valiente que se ha puesto en ello (adaptando cm12 para el bicho), en la próxima versión se podrá usar el teléfono para su principal función, que es llamar y recibir llamadas

Hello guys,
After a few weeks of hard work we have succeed the cm12 build, now our next project : Cm12.1 (Android 5.1.1).
