Is the app or widget that you installed having issues or Force Closes?
Did you contact the developer of that app or widget to ask them if their app or widget is donut-ready?
YES, contact the developer first. Cyanogen doesn’t have time to debug/upgrade other developers apps or widgets.
When you contact the developer of that buggy app or widget, ALWAYS email them a SendLog after you reproduce the error.
If you simply email the developer and say “I got a Force Close on your app/widget”, then you are NOT helping to resolve the issue.
The developer of that buggy app or widget can review your SendLog to look for possible fixes or updates.
1. Install an application called SendLog from the Android Market or follow the link
rg.l6n.sendlog" target="_blank">http://market.android.com/search?q=p...rg.l6n.sendlog.
2. Reproduce the problem (to ensure that the error is recently in the log file)
3. Open the SendLog application
4. Select the “long” format from the drop down list
5. Click Send
6. Pick GMail as the application to send with, and send the email to developers email address (usually found under the app description in Market).
