Gracias por las respuestas, como era de esperar metí la pata a medias, logre instalar el twrp 2.8.7 con el fastboot y todo bien, pero no me dejaba cambiar la partición data a f2fs realmente no se porque.
Igualmente ese no es el problema, el problema es que después quise actualizar el twrp al 3.0 desde el recovery, lo flasheo bien pero al reiniciar y querer entrar me pone este mensaje unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000000). al mirar en el tutorial me di cuenta que hay una nota que no leí, igualmente no me entero muy bien de lo que significa:
If you have updated to the JB OTA bootloader then you must use the -JB version of the recovery, flashing the non -JB version could potentially permanently brick your device (unless you have nvflash as noted above).
Date is off by 1 month in recovery - this is an Asus bug that can't be fixed easily. Just use the keyboard to name your backup
La table por lo menos inicia en la ultima rom que tenia instalada que es la version 17 pero me gustaría poder resolver esto, no la quiero tocar sin algún consejo porque no la quiero dejar totalmente inservible ;)
Willypuertas tu utilizaste la versión twrp 3.0 te dio algún problema al instalarla, tuviste que cambiar algo del bootloader?
